I have always been an artist exploring my creative talents in drawing, painting, sculpture and photography. Recently I have explored new technologies and found that digital imagery more closely matches my creative vision especially when it comes to my use of color. My quest for artistic expression has led me to visit many of our countries National Parks. I have lived and worked in these wild places and have incorporated their wonder as a lifestyle. As a result, my digital artwork displays the essence of beauty and awe that I have experienced during my esthetic journey. In this body of work I am creating art on an intuitive basis, involving a combination of conscious and subconscious visual interpretation. As a visually endowed artist my intentional use of vivid, juicy almost dream-like colors speak to my levels of self-awareness and analytical ability as a Tetrachromat. With my ability to see enhanced colors I clearly pass on the volume of these saturated hues in captured moments of time. My intent is to lead my viewers to their own memories of the magnificence of the natural world. I hope the enjoyment of my of my creative process acts as a reminder to cherish and protect our National treasures. My works are in private collections, and have been on the walls of the White House and even on the Moon.
